Welcome to an eight-game Friday NBA slate! I always love this level of slate because it is a perfect level of value without oversaturation.
As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is to stay on top of the news. The next best is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you’re getting the best value.
Anyway, let’s get into our best NBA player prop bets for Friday, March 8.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Unless specified, each bet is for a single unit | Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 112-86
Brandon Miller Over 20.5 Points (-106 via FanDuel Sportsbook)
Sometimes, I feel like I don’t even have to explain myself when selecting some of these prop bets; this is an example. Riding a five-game losing streak currently, there is no better get-right spot than facing off against Washington
Brandon Miller has been steadily improving as the season progresses, averaging 19 points per game across the last two months. He’s projected around 22 points. This is an easy click at near odds in a pace-up spot against one of the worst defenses in the league.
Jarrett Allen Under 29.5 Pts + Reb (-105 via ESPNBet)
With Karl-Anthony Towns out, it will be interesting to see how opponents are priced moving forward. Still, Allen should see Gobert pretty much all game. With a point total of around 208, I have to find an under to take here.
Minnesota has held opposing centers to the sixth-lowest scoring mark in the NBA. That jumps to the lowest number against opposing centers in rebounding. Facing the best defense in the league in a pace-down spot, this is an easy under bet.
Jalen Brunson Under 39.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115 via ESPNBet)
An equally enticing game to dive in on the under is Orlando-New York. Two slow, above-average defensive teams equals a 207 total and I am finding any under to take with fewer expected possessions.
Of course, Jalen Brunson is dealing with a left knee contusion, so monitor the news. Either way, find an under to take for a Knicks player. The Magic own a top-five defense and don’t rank too far behind New York in terms of pace of play. Both squads are in the bottom five in the league, and I don’t see enough possessions for Brunson to get to 40 on this combo prop.
