NFL: Big Ben to tower over Kansas City Chiefs

NFL: Big Ben to tower over Kansas City Chiefs

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still in the race for the AFC North crown and a win this Sunday might just gift them the division title

With just two games left of the NFL’s regular season, team start to jostle for playoff positions, whether that’s getting a higher seed, winning the division or stealing that final wildcard spot. The perfect game this Sunday that has both teams in must-win situations is the Kansas City Chiefs heading East to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It’s been surprisingly poor in Pittsburgh over the past few years but they’ve really righted the ship this season with the emergence of LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown as potential All-Star players behind their two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The Chiefs have faded a little in the final weeks of the season but sit at 8-6 with a chance at a wildcard spot behind Jamaal Charles’ excellent season.

However, other than Charles and their sturdy pass rush, there hasn’t been much to shout about in KC. They are yet to have a receiving touchdown from a wide receiver so far, which is almost unheard of, and Big Ben is so hard to tackle that their defence might be overwhelmed. Take the Steelers to win a great game with the -3 handicap at Evens and help solidify their post-season hopes.

Two teams that also look playoff-bound play later in the evening as the Indianapolis Colts head to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts sealed their division last week by beating the Texans but with a chance at stealing one of the top two seeds, they’ll still be motivated to get something in Dallas.

America’s team managed to get revenge on the Philadelphia Eagles last week and now have control of their own destiny in the NFC East. A win could seal the deal but the Colts have too much quality in Andrew Luck against an average defence, back them to win at 7/5 to put a worry line in the Cowboy’s brow for the final week.

Our final game comes from Arizona as the Cardinals look to take the division by beating the Seattle Seahawks. It’s been an outstanding year for the Cards who are heading to the playoffs, Bruce Arians has done a superb job with a decent team that’s been hindered by injuries all season.

The fear for them is the re-emergence of the Seahawks who are playing top-level football again after a stuttering start. With the Cards on their third QB and Seattle on a roll that could see them head to the Super Bowl again, go for them to win comfortably with the -7/5 handicap at 19/20 and begin their ascent to steal the division on the final day of the regular season.
