The Spanish-Georgian fighter responded online to the bantamweight champion, who had repeatedly messed with Topuria’s height.

The relationship between Sean O’Malley and Ilia Topuria is half comical, half one of today’s most media rivalries. The constant clashes between the bantamweight and featherweight champions predict a potential confrontation between two of the biggest UFC stars.

Although O’Malley usually starts the usual war of words, Topuria doesn’t shy away from a single opportunity to return the attack to the American, who usually tries to look for a reason to slam Topuria, in this case, his height.

Both men are the bantamweight and featherweight kings and their names stand out among most UFC fighters so whatever they say has a big impact on the MMA community and the UFC.

Topuria responds to O’Malley on social media

Last Friday, O’Malley shared his thoughts about Ilia’s position on the pound-for-pound list on his X account. “How’s Illia higher on p4p? Less title defense and 5 inches shorter. Plz explain.”

After that attack, Topuria didn’t bite his tongue and didn’t hesitate to respond to ‘Suga’ with another tweet.

Another hater, but this one is ugly as fuck . https://t.co/JFRlSKNIlw

“Another hater, but this one is ugly as fuck”, he said. Right after that, the Spanish-Georgian referred to O’Malley’s pound-for-pound question with an image that showed the American after losing to Chito Vera, with a message saying “The explanation”.
